CFMC Pop Up Grant Recipient: Cromwell Creative District!

Reporter Natasha Lubczenko visited Pierson Park to report on the dugout art, a collaboration between CCD and the National Arts Honor Society at Cromwell High School. Town Manager Anthony Salvatore, CCD President James Demetriades, Project Coordinator Erin Trousdale and NAHS President Kaya Anderson were featured.

Rock Hunt, May 2020
Cromwell Creative District promoted a Scavenger Rock Hunt which began on April 25th. Over forty colorful rocks, each sporting the CCD symbol, were scattered throughout Cromwell. Painted by local artists, the colorful rocks could be located on familiar walking routes and in parks.
A prize was offered to the first person completing the task and within hours there was a winner. Christian Cicero of Cromwell found ten of the CCD labeled rocks and was able to claim a Gift Certificate to Mitchell’s on Main which was provided by CCD.
